My Mother...I never knew her ,not that I remember anyway...
She died when I was 10 months old..from Renal failure she was 28 yrs old ,and left 3 children under 5yrs old..
I dont know alot about her as my father never spoke about her to us..I think that is wrong ,as I think about her often and Im nearly sixty now and had a lifetime of wondering..
I know she was beautiful..my dad met her in Ireland during serving in the army there in the 1940's..and she came to Wales to marry my dad..they where married for just over 5 yrs..I have a letter here which she had sent her mother and it was full of hope,to get well and be with her children again..I still cry over her ..and how things may have been different for us ...
Life is hard without your Mother ,I'm sure she would have been my best friend..
I have recently lost my brother George ,he was 60..and I think he is at peace now with his mother...because george would cry about his mother especially if he had been out for a drink...he'd let his feelings show .So I believe he is so content now..
How very sad. Mother is with you, I believe that, she imparted her love before she left. Her imprint has forever been made.

IN A GARDEN FOR ANGELS
Life is a gift not ours to keep,
A seed unsown and yet we still reap.
Here for only a very short while,
The heavenly reality of an earthly denial.
Like a flickering light here and then gone,
The essence of what love is based upon.
Birth and death the beginning and end,
As one heart breaks another one mends.
What was never ours is no more,
Returning to whom it belonged before?
Tear filled eyes silence the heart,
As body and spirit slowly part.
Life is a journey from first breath to last,
Memories left behind in the eternal past.
The here and now releases becoming a remember when,
Replanting the seed so that a new harvest can begin.
With trembling hands love says good-bye,
But still the heart can't help but ask, "Why God Why?"
A heavenly destination will be reached this day,
And in a garden for angels another spirit will awaken to play.
